Your top 10 tips for finding an ideal digital design and creative partner

The idea of being able to have a website for your business is great. However, there are many things that go into having the right kind of website.

Not only does it need to be aesthetically pleasing, but it also needs to have good SEO practices in place so that you can get people not just visiting your site but staying on your site as well. This means that you should hire professionals who know what they are doing and how to create an engaging experience for users when using the internet.

If you do not want mistakes made with SEO practices or design choices, then make sure that you work with designers and developers who know their stuff! To get started, take a look at these top 10 tips for finding the ideal digital design and creative partner:

1. Identify Your Goals

If you’re looking for a design agency Bath or an SEO agency Wiltshire, it’s a good idea to identify your goals before you begin your search. In a digital era, every company needs a website, but understanding the purpose of your site will help you to select the best designer for your needs.

Do you want to showcase your work via the web, for example? Or are you hoping to increase brand awareness? Alternatively, generating leads or completing sales online might be your overarching objective. Whatever your goals, make them clear so that your web designer incorporates them into your new site.

2. Get Recommendations

If you know other people or companies that have used a particular design agency Swindon, get in touch with them and ask for their feedback! Similarly, take a look at online reviews and ratings to get a feel for the agency or designer.

3. Do Your Research

Before you begin discussing an upcoming project, it’s worth spending some time doing your own research. This will enable you to make informed decisions and enhance your subsequent website design. Knowing whether you want to use responsive web design to maximise performance across platforms could help to ensure an optimal outcome, for example. Similarly, check out some popular websites and make notes about what you like and don’t like (or, better still, take screenshots), so you can share this information in the future.

4. Look at Different Styles

Whether you’re searching for website design Swindon or web design Bournemouth, don’t assume that every designer or agency produces the same type of sites. Design is an industry that celebrates individuality, and each designer will have their own niche. Some may specialise in portfolio-style sites, for example, whereas others might be well-known for their e-Commerce work.

5. Consider Additional Services

If you’re launching a new business or revamping an existing website, you might start out by looking for an agency that specialises in web design Wiltshire or web design Milton Keynes. However, there are many additional services that could enhance your online presence, such as website development, hosting, maintenance, and SEO. Think carefully about the services you may need in the future and consider working with an agency that offers web design Swindon in addition to extra services.

6. Set Your Budget

Every business can benefit from affordable web design, so don’t assume that the highest quote will necessarily equate to the best work. Equally, remember that, in life, the old adage, ‘you get what you pay for’, is often true. Do some research so that you have an idea of the average price you’ll need to pay and then request custom quotes from your favourite designers. This will help you to gauge how much you’ll need to spend to get the results you’re after.

7. Incorporate Revisions into the Project

Revisions are a normal part of the creative process but don’t expect your designer to make unlimited revisions free of charge. After all, your role is to share your vision so that the designer can bring it to life. Good communication is essential to achieve shared goals, so take the time to explain exactly what you’re looking for at the start and ask how many revisions are included in the price before you get started.

8. Ask About the Creative Process

Designers work in different ways, so an agency offering web design Bath may have a different creative process to an agency specialising in web design Oxford. Before you commission a designer, ask how their process works and what’s expected of you. This will help you to determine whether you can collaborate effectively and, if so, whether they’re the right agency for you.

9. Check Platform Experience

If you’re launching your website on a particular platform or using a specific content management system (CMS), check that your preferred designer has experience with this setup before they start working for you. There are numerous different systems out there and some designers will specialise in working with particular platforms, so it’s worth verifying their experience before you commence working together.

10. Get in Touch!

One of the easiest and most effective ways to find the ideal digital design and creative partner is simply to get in touch with a designer in Swindon or a web design Surrey agency. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, request references and a portfolio, as well as explaining your needs and vision. By doing so, you can build a rapport with the agency and the designer, which will give you the opportunity to assess whether you’ll work well with one another.

We have lift-off!

We must be mad! Rachael, Lewis and Rob are doing a sponsored wing walk in May! Rachael asked in the office one day: “Does anyone fancy doing a wing walk?”. A resounding “NO” was the reply (or something along those lines!) from everyone except Lewis and Rob. So, it was arranged and there’s no going back now!

Every year, the H2 team fundraises for local and national charities that are close to their hearts. And this initiative is in aid of Dorothy House – a local hospice that provides exceptional, personal care for people with life-limiting illnesses.

Your support to help them soar to new heights is greatly appreciated!

Exciting new partnership

We’ve recently been working with innovative jewellery  company Ti2 Titanium – a team of skilled designers and jewelry makers who craft each unique piece in their collection. We’ve revamped their brand, redesigned and built their website and taken bespoke photography, as well as managing their social media.

To enhance their online visibility and increase brand recognition and engagement, we’ve utilised intricate social media tactics and created compelling photo and video content. This has significantly increased their followers, reach and interaction. We’ve also streamlined their online checkout process and product customisation, gaining excellent feedback for user experience and resulting in a considerable increase in sales.

We’re looking forward to working with Ti2 Titanium more in the future!
