Averys began in 1793 and over the years, the family has built its reputation as one of the UK’s most pioneering wine merchants. Today, it is 5th generation Mimi Avery introducing a new generation of wine lovers to Averys. At the heart of what they do – and have done for over 220 years – is share their passion for wine. They really do love discovering wines with a story to tell – whether for everyday drinking or fine wines for the cellar.
Even companies that have been around for 220 years need to market their products in a modern way and the last Black Friday campaign was no different. Our brief was pretty open and allowed us to have some fun creating an offer that there would be a stampede for. Subsequently, the offer sold out within a couple of days of going live across the social media platforms.
Having worked with H2 previously, to brand and launch the trio of national Union Jack stations, Jack turned to us to help create branding and launch material for the show. The show can be heard across the group’s six radio stations every weekday from 7 to 9am.
To create a social media campaign to sell a Six Bottle Black Friday offering. This involved storyboarding an animated campaign and once approved, writing the post content, photography of the product, photo retouching, production of the audio and the animation of the final digital video in both 1:1 and 1080p formats.
